Prof. Qinghua Liu
University of Science and Technology of China
Dr. Qinghua Liu received his Ph.D. in 2009 from University of Science and Technology of China. His current research interests mainly focus on the construction of advanced energy catalytic materials and the in-situ synchrotron radiation characterizations of advanced energy conversion systems. During the past ten years, he has developed a series of high-performance photo/electro-catalyst materials. Based on the Hefei synchrotron radiation device, he developed the surface-sensitive synchrotron radiation X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy (XAFS) and infrared spectroscopy (SR-IR) for in-situ detection of solid-liquid electrocatalytic process. These advanced in-situ experimental techniques have been applied to monitor the reaction dynamic processes of advanced energy conversion systems. The research results by Dr. Liu have won the first-class prize of Natural Science in Anhui Province, and more than 130 research papers have been published. The published articles have been cited more than 8000 times, and the H-index of Dr. Qinghua Liu is 41.
